About Riverside Park
The Riverside Park neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, didn't get its start until the 50's when homes were being built to house the folks coming to Florida after WWII. However, the area had its real beginnings in the early 1900's as a produce trading point on the New River. The Swing Bridge currently undergoing renovation is dated from the 1920's.
