Each year, the city of Fort Lauderdale awards points to communities that participate in "green" activities, such as neighborhood beautification projects, trash clean up and recycling after large city events and recycling education at city events. Points become dollars at the end of the year. Each year, Riverside Park receives $1,000-2,000 for our volunteer activities. Dawn Joiner is our Green Your Routine representative.
